Holiday Appetizers

Many of you have asked for ideas about what to make for holiday parties. 'Tis the season where you will undoubtedly be tempted to cheat with non-paleo goodies. Remember, a little cheat here and there is not going to kill you. But to ease the temptation and keep you on the right track, why not make some of these awesome paleo appetizers? I guarantee they will rival the best of the non-paleo appetizers out there and leave you feeling a whole lot better afterwards! These are some of my favorite party recipes--I hope they will become your favorites, too. Enjoy!

Thanksgiving, Revisited

Ahh, time to breathe a sigh of relief...another successful holiday dinner in the books! As promised, I am posting completed recipes and photos of the foods we enjoyed on Thanksgiving. These recipes can be made any time of year, and are particularly satisfying in the cooler months. Please give them a try for your next gathering. Looking ahead, I am baking for a neighborhood cookie exchange next week and am determined to show my friends how delicious paleo cookies can be. I'm thinking of going with either gingerbread cookies or paleo chocolate truffles. If you have an amazing paleo cookie recipe you'd like to share, please let me know by posting a comment here or on the Paleo Table Facebook page! Thanks for visiting and for all of the great comments you left last week!

Soups, Stews, and Chilis

It's soup season here in the midwest...and I think it will be for a while! I've had several requests for soup recipes, although I have to admit that I typically don't make soup very frequently. But for YOU (and you know who you are!), I've decided to test and post some tasty soup recipes. This week I'm also introducing a new heading in the Recipes section titled Soups, Stews, and Chilis. I have been spending lots of time in my "test kitchen" trying out some great recipes to warm you up during these chilly fall and winter nights. I've gotten into a good groove with soup and plan to make Friday "Soup Night" in our house for the next several weeks, so look for even more great recipes to come. Enjoy!
