I used a lot of fresh produce this week. I especially love the bright red tomatoes from the farmer's market and the fresh garlic from our CSA. We have 6 tomato plants growing in our small garden that will soon be full of tomatoes. Look for many more tomato recipes in the coming weeks! You'll also notice basil showing up in a lot of recipes. My basil plants are growing like crazy. Next week's recipes will definitely include something with pesto.
This week, be sure to check out the recipe for caramelized onions. They serve as a building block for both the pork tenderloin and the burger recipes. Make them early in the week and those recipes will take only a few minutes to prepare.
I'll also be posting a paleo bar recipe later this week. I've been doing some baking at home, and the latest bar is GOOD!
