Shopping List 5

Meat (grass-fed, free-range, etc.)
1 lb ground Italian sausage
1 rotisserie chicken or 3 - 4 chicken breasts
1 lb ground lamb
2 lbs cubed lamb or beef (stew meat)
1 lb nitrate-free bacon
1 dozen eggs (eggs are considered meat in paleo)

Seafood
1-1/2 lbs peeled and deveined large shrimp

Dairy
1 cup plain full-fat Greek yogurt (or an additional can coconut milk)
ghee

Spices
black pepper
sea salt
ground cumin
ground cinnamon
cinnamon stick
whole cloves
Bay leaves
saffron powder
organic Roganjosh spice blend
garam masala
ground cayenne pepper (optional)

Produce (organics are best)
1 large head cauliflower
1 bunch celery
1 cup peas (can use frozen)
1 seedless cucumber
1 bunch fresh cilantro
1 bunch fresh thyme
1 bunch fresh mint
1 bunch Italian flat-leaf parsley
2 limes
1 lemon
1 head Boston lettuce (need 8 leaves)
4 medium to large yellow onions
1 red onion
2 large bell peppers - any color (I used orange and yellow)
1 medium apple - pick your favorite, Granny Smith works well
1 head garlic
1/4 cup walnuts

Canned Goods
1 can unsweetened full-fat coconut milk
1 can chipotle peppers in adobo (use one and freeze the rest, individually wrapped)
1 tsp tomato paste (scoop out tsp-size dollops and freeze leftover paste)
14 oz can diced tomatoes (I like Muir Glen Organics fire-roasted)
1 jar Spanish olives (need 1/2 cup)

Pantry Staples
coconut oil
olive oil
paleo-friendly organic mayo (or make your own with oil and eggs)
raw organic honey
Dijon mustard
