Crab Dip with Cucumber

This recipe is so easy to put together and tastes great! Try to make this a couple of hours in advance to let the flavors combine.

Adapted from Primal Blueprint Quick and Easy Meals by Mark Sisson and Jennifer Meier.

Makes 1 cup.

1 tsp tomato paste
1/4 cup paleo mayonnaise
1 Tbsp chopped fresh chives
1 tsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 tsp horseradish
dash hot sauce
1/2 pound lump crab meat
1 large seedless cucumber, sliced

  1. Whisk together tomato paste, mayonnaise, lemon juice, horseradish, and hot sauce in a small bowl.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together crab meat and chives.
  3. Pour wet ingredients over crab mixture and stir well to combine.
  4. To serve, transfer crab dip to a small serving bowl. Garnish with additional chives, if desired. Serve with cucumber slices for dipping.

  1. Is there any reason not to used canned crab as long as it's not imitation?

    1. Hi, Erin! You can totally use canned crab meat for the recipe. That's what makes it so easy. :) Enjoy!

  2. Thanks for giving me the inspiration to make my own paleo crab dip recipe.
