Meal Plan 37

I know this post is a week late, but time got away from me just taking care of life. A very unpleasant virus made its way through our house--not fun! And then I focussed on planning Aly's 9th birthday celebration. Dave took the opportunity to teach Josh a valuable lesson: the King girls like to celebrate our birthdays for a whole week. Aly kept that tradition up with great enthusiasm! And although there was a lot of PAY-LEE-NO food being consumed by the kids, I focused on keeping our family party mainly paleo with pulled pork, cole slaw, fruit and veggie sides, and a tray of yummy paleo treats.

This week's meal plan is a good one. Check out the pulled turkey sandwich. It tastes as good as it looks! The meatza is a yummy twist on a traditionally Italian-flavored dish. The chicken thigh are a delicious way to prepare one of my favorite parts of the chicken. And the pot roast has a wonderful flavor profile--another great slow-cooker recipe. I also have to mention the pork tenderloin or "pig wrapped in pig," as I named it to entice my children to eat it. Its a yummy package of pork and veggie goodness. I hope you enjoy these meals!

Thanks to all of you who have signed up for the emails, liked Paleo Table on Facebook, and left great comments. I love hearing your feedback and requests!

Good luck to everyone in the CrossFit Open 12.4 workout this week. Last week's workout was not good to me so I hope this week will be better. I want to give a special shout out to my brother-in-law, Greg Major from Bulldog CrossFit. He is currently ranked 14th in the Masters 55-59 category. I am so proud of him and am already planning my trip to California to see him compete. Keep up the great work, Greg!
