Shopping List 23

Meat and Poultry (grass-fed, free-range, etc.)
1 pound nitrate-free bacon
2 pounds lean ground pork
1/2 pound sirloin or flank steak
6 strip steaks - scale number, if needed

Seafood (wild, sustainable)
2 cod, or other whitefish, fillets
1 pound raw, wild shrimp - peeled and deveined

Dairy (grass-fed, organic)
unsalted, grass-fed butter
1 dozen eggs

Produce (local, organic, whenever possible)
1 large head broccoli
1 head green cabbage
1 head cauliflower
2 carrots
2 shallots
1 head garlic
1 medium cucumber
1 avocado
2 cups tomatillos
1 cup zebra tomatoes
6 large plum tomatoes
3 small yellow onions
1 bunch fresh cilantro
1 bunch fresh rosemary
1-3 jalapeno peppers
2 limes
1 large container mixed salad greens
1 bunch fresh spinach
1 cup fresh mushrooms (Shiitake, cremini, etc.)
1 bunch scallions (optional)

Spices
sea salt
black pepper
dried thyme
sweet paprika
onion powder
garlic powder
celery seed
sesame seeds (optional)

Packaged Goods
1 cup pitted olives (I used kalamata and colossal green from olive bar.)
capers
dried seaweed (nori) sheets (optional)
2 cups red wine
fresh pesto (or add basil, garlic, lemon, and walnuts to your list and make your own)

Pantry Staples
coconut oil

apple cider vinegar
coconut vinegar (optional)
raw organic honey
coconut aminos
Dijon mustard
liquid smoke
